Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, and raised in the military community of Spangdahlem, Valerie's global upbringing and education laid the foundation for her diverse skill set and worldly perspective. She attended high school at the French military school in Trier, Germany. After receiving her Baccalaureat, Valerie continued her studies in Strasbourg, France, then attended the Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Nantes. In the course of a dual degree program with HEC Nantes, Valerie obtained her Masters in Business Administration from the Ohio State University.
Valerie's connection to Jackson Hole began with a visit in the summer of 1995, where she found an undeniable sense of belonging that would eventually see her making it her home. Here, Valerie's passion for the outdoors, community service, wildlife conservation, and support for local non-profits flourishes alongside her love for her rescue pets. Her wanderlust remains untamed, with frequent trips to France to connect with her family, enriching her appreciation for diverse cultures and places.
